According to Graham Smyth – writing for The Yorkshire Evening Post – Leeds United will not lose on-loan centre-back Ben White during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old joined the Whites on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer and has not missed a single minute of his current side’s 2019/20 Championship campaign to date.
WhoScored have the central defender down as winning an average of 3.3 aerial duels per game during his 16 Championship outings, in addition to a pass success rate of 85.5%.
Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to watch the Englishman in action this season having been impressed by his performances.
According to Smyth, Brighton could have only recalled White during the January window if he had failed to play a certain percentage of Leeds’ matches.
However, the fact that the defender has been absolutely key for Marcelo Bielsa means that he will not be returning to his parent club in January.
