Bournemouth have targeted Lazio defender Gila as a replacement for outgoing defender Huijsen. According to TuttoMercatoWeb and Mundo Deportivo, Bournemouth, who signed Huijsen from Juventus, could turn to Serie A again for his replacement.

A product of the Real Madrid Academy, Gila moved to the Olimpico for €6 million. The Spaniard has impressed at the Capital. He has played 42 times this season, scoring two goals and helping the team to 12 clean sheets. Gila's compatriot, Huijsen, who plies his trade with The Cherries, was a prime contributor to Bournemouth's 11th-place finish this season. His good performances made Real Madrid bankroll a €59.5M transfer, earning Bournemouth a whopping profit. Gila's transfer, in essence, would act as a replacement for the outgoing Huijsen.
