However, Barcelona have now taken David off their list as they believe that the Canadian striker is not the right profile for Hansi Flick's current side, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Catalans had been interested in David after he revealed that playing for Barcelona was his "dream."
AFPWHAT DAVID SAID
During an interview in November, David said: “[Barcelona] was always the team I grew up supporting. When you grow up supporting a team, it’s a dream to play for them.”
WHAT NEXT FOR BARCELONA
The Catalan side are now likely to look elsewhere but any moves will have to wait until the summer transfer window as they prioritise the registration of Dani Olmo currently.
